بررسی ارتباط بین ابعاد مختلف سبک ‌زندگی با کیفیت ‌زندگی سالمندان

چکیده

زمینه و هدف  امروزه با توجه به افزایش سریع تعداد سالمندان، مسئلة مهم‌تری با عنوان کیفیت زندگی مطرح شده است. همان‌طور که طول عمر افراد افزایش می‌یابد، اهمیت رفتارهای ارتقادهندة سلامتی نیز با توجه به حفظ کارکرد و استقلال افراد و افزایش کیفیت‌زندگی آن‌ها، روزبه‌روز بیشتر آشکار می‌شود. لذا، بر آن شدیم که ارتباط بین ابعاد مختلف سبک زندگی و کیفیت ‌زندگی را بررسی کنیم.
مواد و روش‌ها در این پژوهش توصیفی- تحلیلی از نوع مقطعی، 350 سالمند ساکن مراکز مراقبت سالمندی شهر اصفهان حضور داشتند. اطلاعات بر اساس دو پرسشنامة استاندارد سبک ‌زندگی و کیفیت ‌زندگی (SF36) جمع‌آوری شد. پس از تکمیل پرسشنامه‌ها توسط گروه هدف، داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخة 20 و آزمون‌های آماری توصیفی و همبستگی پیرسون تجزیه‌وتحلیل شد.
یافته‌هان میانگین سنی سالمندان 87/13±93/71 بود. از بین آن‌ها 6/70 درصد زن بودند و اکثریت سواد خواندن و نوشتن نداشتند بودند (4/45 درصد). براساس آزمون هم‌بستگی پیرسون، بین ابعاد مختلف سبک ‌زندگی با کیفیت ‌زندگی ارتباط معنا‌داری وجود داشت (05/0>p). همچنین، آزمون هم‌بستگی پیرسون نشان داد ابعاد مختلف کیفیت زندگی با هم ارتباط معنا‌داری دارد (001/0>p).
نتیجه‌گیریبا توجه به یافته‌های این پژوهش، سبک ‌زندگی سالم تأثیر بسزایی در بهبود کیفیت ‌زندگی سالمندان دارد. لذا، پیشنهاد می‌شود که سیاستگزاران سلامت برای ارتقای وضعیت سبک ‌زندگی سالمندان ساکن در خانة سالمندان برنامه‌ریزی کنند. امید است این مداخله گامی در جهت بهبود وضعیت سلامت وکیفیت ‌زندگی این قشر آسیب‌پذیر باشد.

Background and purpose Nowadays, quality of life is increasingly considering due to the rapid increase in the population of elderly. The importance of health promoting behaviors becomes significantly more highlighted because of maintaining individual functional independence and improving their quality of life. Then, we aimed to investigate the relation of different aspects of lifestyle and elderly quality of life.
Materials and MethodsA cross-sectional survey was done in 350 elderly residents in elderly care facilities in Isfahan participated. Data were collected using 2 questionnaires included lifestyle and quality of life (SF36). To analyze, SPSS version 20 and descriptive and Pearson correlation were used.
Results The mean age of the elderly was 71.93 ± 13.87. In total, 70.6% of samples were women who were not able to literate (45.4%). According to Pearson correlation, there was a significant relation between different aspects of lifestyle and elderly quality of life (p<0.05). Aforementioned test also reported that different aspects of quality of life had meaningful relation with each other (p<0.001).
Conclusion  According to our findings, healthy lifestyle has notably impacts on improving elderly quality of life. Therefore, it is recommended that health policy makers develop plans to promote elderly lifestyle resident in care facilities. It is hoped that our study support this at risk population toward improving the health status and quality of life.
